This Big T’s BBQ and Smokehouse is nicely situated between McMahon Stadium and the Banff Trail CTrain station, just off Crowchild Trail.
I went to Big T’s on a Monday around 7:30 pm. It was not even half full and really hot inside, almost matching the summer heat outside.
Big T’s has a nice ambiance. The dining area is modest in size but still looks warm and welcoming, with two levels of seating and a well-spaced seating layout.
The menu is not more than two pages long, but it offers enough choices to have something for everyone. I had the Butt Rub Burger. It was a great-tasting burger that came with everything. I got to pick a side, and the fries I chose were also great.
Last thoughts: Big T’s BBQ is a neat place to go for a meal. The food is great and so is the ambiance. It’s definitely a must-try if you’ve never been there, and I myself will definitely go back.

They have great sides like the dirty rice and Yam Fries. And I agree the Butt Rub Burger is a great burger.
